Beruang kutub pun kelaparan akibat Global Warming

Dear Indra,
It has been quite a long time since me and my wife last met you in Phnom Penh and had a pleasant days in Cambodia.
I hope things are going well with you and your family.

As wrote you, I have been to Churchill with my wife end of last month to watch Polar Bears there.
It is a very small town located roughly one thousand kilometers north of Winnipeg, the state capital of Manitoba, whose population is less than one thousand and known as the Polar Bear capital of the world.
We have witnessed a harsh reality during the stay there that was how the global warming caused by human beings affects wildlives, particularly Polar Bears have been threatened with extinction.
They have been hungry throughout the Summer without having any substantial food to eat and only waiting for the timing when Hudson Bay frozen over
to form icebergs that invites seals to hunt.

What annoying them is that Hudson Bay used to be frozen over by the end of October, however, the Bay wasn’t forming the ice when we have arrived there on October 24th.
That means with no seals to hunt they are forced to endure hungry for another few weeks till seals appear on the icebergs.
No wonder when we arrived in Churchill on October 24th to join the Polar watching tour, it was 5-degree in daytime and only few degrees below zero
in the night that has been fairly warmer than average in Churchill.

As you will see from the photos attached to this message, there is no iceberg at all in the Bay, even around the estuary of Churchill River where thin ice is being formed.
We therefoere have not come across any seals during the chase of Bears, much less anticipated scene of these seals are being attacked by Bears on the icebergs.
We however should admit that still lucky enough to encounter 10 to 15 bears in each day and photographed them as per attached.

We really feel sorry about current environment for Polar bears which has been destructed by us human beings as they don’t have any means to escape from such an awful situation but adopt it as it is for the years to come.
Some strong steps to be taken as quickly as possible to stop deteriorating any further before the situation becomes out of control.
Sending total seven photos, One is taken from the air, Three are bears, mother bear with a cub, two young male bears aged 4 to 5 years sitting still to avoid
loosing energy, Taken from the front seat that we are driving through the rough terrain near the inlet of Hudson Bay by snow buggy designed to chase the bears, and The buggy itself that wears huge tires of which diameter is about 1.7 meters even taller than my wife.

Hope you are able to picture the place where we visited and how we spent days there through the photos attached.
Will you please keep me posted whenever you come across any interesting things in your place. Take good care of yourself.
Best regards,
Ted
